"Why Just Her" book on Palfrey will be released on Friday.

May 1 will be the one year anniversary of Deborah Jeane Palfrey's death. I will write my thoughtws on Friday's posting. I received an email from Jeane's former attorney Montgomery Blair Sibley. He is releasing his book about Jeane's case. The link about the book will be on the left side bar of the blog. Here is the email from Mr. Sibley:

Greetings:

As I trust your recall, I was the attorney for the D.C. Madam, Deborah Jeane Palfrey, who you may remember committed suicide on May 1st of last year. I have written a book about her and the judicial system which drove her to commit suicide entitled: "Why Just Her: The Judicial Lynching of the D.C. Madam, Deborah Jeane Palfrey." The book traces how the Washington Beltway mob insured that the clients of her service would never be fully known. More details on the book can be found at
www.WhyJustHer.com.

As "Why Just Her" addresses both fundamental issues of social justice, criminal law and the escort industry, I write to alert you to the book's publication.

If you would take two (2) minutes to view the YouTube "Why Just Her" book trailer, you will see that the Jeane’s story has some sensational aspects that reached all the way to the Bush II White House.

Jean was used to protect Wilkes and others. She wasn't changed until needed. The Judges hearing this case were also corrupt and the only way Justice will be served is for the truth to come out. Smokin Gun was used to expose the lie and it took off from there. Many were involved some for different reasons. The Prosecutors were looking to steal her coins and some of the money. For the so called big business Jean had she made little compaired to others who were really doing an illegal business. People really don't understand what it's like until you sit in a court room knowing a man in a robe or 12 people hold your life in their hand. Prosecutors do a job most don't really get attached because there are so many cases. In Jeans case the Prosecutor was assigned to this case to make sure the real reasons didn't come out. Many people were set up and used over the pass 8 years with the help of Judges. I loved the legal system but questioned it.

One day in court this African American lady charged with a DP was shaking and cried even before we heard her case. I went and asked could I help and she said she would be found guilty even knowing she didn't do anything. I asked why as the Judge will listen to both sides of the story first. She said look there's a white Judge, white prosecutor and a white police officer. I realized she was right but because I worked there I didn't really see it that way. So I asked the Public Defender to handle her defence and I spoke to both the officer and Prosecutor. I went in Court with the Judge and the woman almost fainted when she saw me with the Judge on the Bench. The results was she was right and the officer was wrong as he admitted his mistake. Life lessons I learned along the way as people left behind see things different. Our Legal System isn't perfect because the people to handle the law aren't perfect but compaired to the World we are the best. I guess that's why went our Judge System was removed by the Bush Administration I realized how many Americans would suffer.

Jean couldn't hold up to the jail sentence and I've seen many who are so afraid to wait for their appeals knowing their innocent but it's too much to take. I visited a jail in New Jersey while in College assignment and after the third door closed it's a different World in a jail and the sounds would really drive you crazy. What's sad about Jean's case is she is innocent but couldn't wait for Justice to show up.
