It appears that a documentary about the U.S. attorney scandal that plagued the Bush administration is going to be quite revealing — or salacious, depending on your point of view.
In Justice, which is being produced by Storyville Films, is still in production, according to information about the documentary on the company’s Web site.
But the company has released a 10-minute trailer.
In the trailer, you’ll see a hint of emotion from David Iglesias, the former U.S. attorney for New Mexico who was among those fired, when he alleges that former U.S. Sen. Pete Domenici and U.S. Rep. Heather Wilson, both New Mexico Republicans, pressured him to speed indictments in a case involving a high-ranking Democrat in time to sway voters in the 2006 election.
“It was un-American, and the more I thought about it — in fact, I’m getting angry again just thinking about it, because it’s not what this country stands for,” he says.
And you’ll hear Iglesias and several other fired U.S. attorneys discuss former U.S. Attorney General Alberto Gonzales’ congressional testimony about Iglesias’ firing with skepticism.
“Gonzales lied under oath when he testified that he would never, ever take somebody out for political reasons,” Iglesias alleges on the trailer for the documentary.
Read on.
On side note, according to The Public Record, the testimonies of Rove and Miers, at least for the time being, will not be public. Obama’s Justice Department attorneys told the appeals court two weeks ago that it was hoping to negotiate a settlement in the matter and avoid a lengthy court battle.
Here is an excerpt of the video of the documentary:

First off I never knew their were so many good looking US Attorneys. At lease for the 25 years in the New Jersey Court System only the ok dudes applied. Now just think having to talk to the Silver Fox or Bud, most woman would just go to their office to look.
Now to business. Yes Gonzo lied under oath and it's on tape. But now that Karl Rove lost his free pass he might just toss Gonzo under the bus to save himself. This is just one example of how we didn't have a Justice System when Bush/Cheney were in charge. Each AG was a puppet breaking every law we had.
Now if President Obama bring the US back to be a member of the International Court there might be a really big case to be heard. Yes Bush Administration can be brought up on War Crimes charges for killing 1 million innocent Iraq men/woman/children and kidnapping, torture and murder of detainees. We will see the children that the US tortured and killed as their families were paid 2500 dollars by the US for taking their life. Most took pictures of the bodies returned to Iraq. This should make the American people proud of what we allowed to take place and did nothing about. Yes woman were detaineed and rape/murder too. The Bush Administration called it self the rulers of the Free World with tortured and murder as the examples.
gonzo lie??? whoda thunk??
Gonzo lied so much, I wanted to throw something at the TV during the hearings. He's also got that arrogant smug look about him when he is telling lies, you know, where you want to smack it off his face.
