Last night on The Rachel Maddow Show, MSNBC correspondent Richard Engel discussed Israel’s refusal to let reporters into Gaza. “I’ve called everyday and said ‘when are we going to be allowed in?’” he said, adding that one Israeli official “had an interesting explanation” for the situation. The official told Engel that Israel doesn’t want reporters in Gaza documenting the humanitarian situation or revealing military tactics. Israel is trying to “manage the image” of the war, Engel reported, adding this:
ENGEL: This official told me he expects this operation, while negotiations are taking place, will last several more days. And that after that, reporters would eventually be allowed in. But at that stage, Israel is assuming the United States will mostly be focused on all of the coverage around the inauguration, and that viewers simply won’t care at that point.

Richard is the only News reporter that has told the truth and how Israel is out right murdering the Palestine people with Abbas of Fatah's blessings. This is truely sad that the US/Israel/Abbas planned this attack if McCain/Palin lost the Election. Israel lied their was no bombs coming from the UN school but Israel bombed it knowin there were children inside. Israel bombed the UN truck with food/medical supplies for Palestine people. Now Israel says they will continue until Jan. 20th because Bush leaves office.
Good news is Obama will meet with the Democratic Elected President of Hamas. Israel knew this would happen as with their plan with Bush. What they both forgot was the 1948 UN settlement agreement that now Israel has broken. Israel like people to forget the land their on was Palestines. Israel needed a place to live and the UN agreed that they could settle on a small part of Palestine. Since then Israel has been using the US and implaneting Jewish people in US Govenment positions to build Israel to take all of the Palestine land. Look Joe Lieberman and Diane Feinstein have worked as Senators to make Israel powerful with weapons to invade and take control of Palestine. It's been a long time and most US President didn't follow those suggestions but along came Bush the idiot and Israel knew they could use the US and they did for 8 years.
