Criminal probe into U.S. Embassy in Iraq construction.
A mortar shell smashed into the hulking new U.S. Embassy that's under construction in Baghdad last May, damaging a wall and causing minor injuries to people inside the building. First off that is going to be a huge embassy, right on the Tigiris River, some prime land. Way overboard on the site (size and location) and price tag, so this is where our tax dollars are going? And why do we need this extravagant Embassy??
Perhaps the original delusional plan was to make Iraq the 51st state.
