Contempt charges possible for Bag Lady Miers

From Raw Story:

The refusal to appear could open Miers to criminal contempt charges when the panel convenes tomorrow, according to a letter sent to her attorney.

"We are aware of absolutely no court decision that supports the notion that a former White House official has the option of refusing to even appear in response to a Congressional subpoena," says the letter from Committee Chairman John Conyers (D-Mich.) and Rep. Linda Sanchez (D-Calif.).

If Miers is charged with contempt charges, then she is subjected for a warrant by not complying to the subpoena. Miers should know that she is not entitled to executive privilege even as an ex-employee for the White House. Miers is not looking at the fact that resisting the subpoena puts her license to practice law in jeopardy because someone could notify the bar association of her conduct. She needs to re-read the code of conduct as an attorney.

No worry SPB if she doesn't appear and the contempt order is given I will email the US Bar Association and as an American demand that she be reviewed for her conduct. Just think of it she could have been sitting on the Supreme Court. Makes you wonder are Alito and Roberts working for the people or the White House. The Legally Blond girl gave Senator Leahy all he needed for her charge too. I notice she didn't bring her dog with her to the hearing.

Meow!

But, you do not have to deal with me when their is food in the house. I made a delivery pizza box complete with 1/2 pizza and sauce go flying through the air a couple of weeks ago. I put my paw in the wrong place to see what was in the box. The box went flying. Those birds I don't like outside got to eat the pizza after it was scraped up off the floor and furniture and thrown out the door.
