Commencement day for the rugby man

Yup, busted!!!!! Ya think I didn't find the evidence? I was emailed the link with some pictures of the Amherst College commencement ceremony. Yup, I got the goods.. LOL!
Congrats again, Fitz. Enjoy the pics folks. I know Jackie will be proud of Fitz with his cap and gown. ;-) Glad you smiled. Otherwise, I have to tell you to notify your face.

P.S. You were more loved at Amherst College than Gonzo at Harvard. ;O
Update: Here is Fitz's commencement speech on audio. Thank you to the blogger that emailed me the audio today.

Great speech! Cheers to Jackie's little angel. (I am so glad I don't have that nickname! He he..)

Thanks for the pictures SPB
These pictures will go with the ones I have of my kids graduations.
I missed the Little Angel's first graduation but with that smile it's like seeing it for the first time. Strange how some man never lost that boyish look. I have a picture of Preppie with his cap on his he has the same boyish face today. I love to see Fitz smile.
God blessed all of us with a camera in our minds and I've got a lot of pictures stored up. Fitz is so tall sometimes I forget that. I'll listen to his speech today. Thanks again SPB

I finally listened to Fitz's speech. He did a wonderful speech. It's great that you pointed out your meaning of public service and your story of your journey in being an attorney. We have to learn in life is that everyone is a public servant and not just a particulat career and title. I personally had to learn through my lifetime what is leadership and what is a leader. A good leader has been to be good follower. But, more importantly a leader has to serve others. I think that those principles unfortunately have been lost in this country: being a public servant, good leader, and a good role model to others.

Thanks for adding the link to the speech! I like his sense of humor--very subtle. There was one section where he decribed the mob trial, one person killed 30 people, someone else killed 25, and another killed 15, ". . . and these were our witnesses." Another section was something about "Al Qaeda wishes death to America but they do not want to interfere with the microphone." I was rolling with laughter.

What lucky kids! The Amherst kids got to hear a speech with substance.

I sat through three college graduation speeches. One had the front page editor of the Wall Street Journal and he was a complete egomaniac. Another one was my college president telling us that we weren't finished with our educations and we should come back for another degree. The third was a dude with wild hair and the whole time I wondered if his motar board was going to fall off his head. And, I am not certain if Wild Hair Dude had a clue about what he was talking about or where he was. I think he never exhaled from when he was in college.

Nice pictures of Mr. Fitzgerald. A well deserving honor for a well deserving man.
