CREW Sends FOIA to DOJ Seeking Documents Concerning Communications with White House about Joe and Valerie Wilson
Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW) has sent a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request to the Department of Justice ("DOJ") in order to determine whether it had any communication with the White House about Joe and Valerie Wilson. These documents could to show whether the DOJ was influenced in its investigation of the leak of Valerie Wilson's name and affiliation with the CIA by the White House following public disclosure of Mr. Wilson's findings during a February 2002 trip he took to Niger.
