CREW SENDS FOIA TO WHITE HOUSE OFFICE OF ADMINISTRATION SEEKING RECORD-KEEPING POLICIES
In light of recent revelations about the email practices of White House staffers, Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW) today sent a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request to the Office of Administration seeking White House record-keeping policies and guidance for presidential and federal records dating from January 1, 2001, to the present.
CREW sought expedition of its request after reports of multiple uses by high-ranking White House officials of outside email accounts, which raised serious concerns about the White House's compliance with federal record-keeping laws.
The heat is on the White House since there is new information of certain White House emails being corresponded on the RNC email server in regarding the USA firing scandal.
