TEHRAN, Iran (AP) - President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said Thursday that Iran was prepared for any possibility in the standoff with the West over its controversial nuclear activities.
"Today, with the grace of God, we have gone through the arduous passes and we are ready for anything in this path," state-run television quoted Ahmadinejad as saying Thursday.
Ahmadinejad also denounced critics of his nuclear diplomacy at home, saying that they will not affect his government's handling of the nuclear issue with the West.
Conservatives and reformists have in recent weeks openly challenged Ahmadinejad's hard-line nuclear diplomacy tactics, with many saying his provocative remarks are doing more harm than good.
The U.S. and its allies accuse Iran of secretly trying to develop nuclear weapons, an allegation Tehran denies
And this makes the chimpster look bad in the light. The Iran President is reaching out the U.S. while the chimpster is still scheming to try to invade Iran.

Bush is the true Axis of Evil and every country around the world should be on alert to protect themselves. Bush will lie to your face and stab you in your back. Iran is right to be on the look out for the Axis of Evil. Notice all the nations have not join in Bush's policy for invasion. The Israel PM is most likely going to step down. Al Sadr will replace Maliki and Bush will be out of the game. Halliburton will have to take what money they stole and leave. Cheney will no longer be in power. The Saudi King will push Daddy Bush off the board committee.
The remaining GOP loyalist will do what Tweety does and say " I didn't say that did I".
I just don't think that Pres. Ahmadinejad would be as fired up if it wasn't for the Gerbil. Other countries see him as Hitler& Hussein all in one. Pres. Ahmadinejad is probably responding to how the citizens of Iran (as well as Syria, etc) view the Chimp. Other countries see how he won the elections, how he is running the country to the ground (wanting to drill for oil in National Forests, lifting bans on polluting companies), not taking care of the people (Katrina)and letting them die (just like Saddam). And this is a very brief summation. (I know you don't need a book wriiten here)
Look how he went into Iraq because of ?911,claiming WMDs, Sadam Husseins link to Al Quada, etc. They may think he will be in Iran on some unfounded excuse as well.
Oh and by the way we have ready to launch nuke's ready to go at a moments notice, don't you think the rest of the world is comfortable with that? And with the Chimp in charge?
