Widower whose deceased wife was a BofA employee sues Bank of America over mortgage modification

After promising a brief forbearance on mortgage payments because of the death of his wife, who had been a longtime Bank of America employee, BofA's "condescending, disrespectful and downright nasty" employees bombarded the widower with up to 10 dunning phone calls a day, repeatedly screwed up paperwork, and violated its own promises, the widower says.


In the suit, Louis Suravitz of Hurst, Texas, says that he became delinquent on his home mortgage shortly after the death of his wife, Susannah Boswell.

According to the suit, Susannah Boswell died as the result of her physician's failing to administer insulin.
