Bank president removed by O.C.C.

DAVIS, Okla. -- The president of First National Bank in Davis has been removed from his post by the Office of Comptroller of Currency (OCC). Bank Board Member Miles Judkins says the OCC informed the board of its decision Wednesday.

"They informed us of the problems that they saw, but beyond that, I'm not at liberty to speak," said Judkins.

In fact, the neither the OCC nor the FDIC was able to tell us why the president was removed, however Judkins did say it has to do with how he was running the bank.

The bank itself remains open and is still looking for a new president.

Read on.

The OCC removed this bank President, yet no word of removing any of the execs of banks  that are involved in the foreclosure mess and illegal practices of foreclosure proceedings.
