TPM has an image of an email chain from November 2006 where a number of people are informed for the first time about the plan to fire the US Attorneys, including Press Secretary Dana Perino. The email makes it quite clear that everyone understood the potential for "political upheaval" or "political fallout" from implementing the plan.
Only 4 minutes after receiving this email, Perino replies with, "Someone get me the oxygen can!!"
Another recipient responds by identifying "issues in the press for which Dana will need the oxygen can," including the fact that one of the attorneys to be fired had been the Duke Cunningham prosecutor [which is Carol Lam].
Perino responds: "Give me a double shot -- I can't breathe."

Start from the bottom up to win your case. The people like Dana will talk because their afraid of going to jail and then you have your strong foundation for the indictment. Look for the Little Buckagoo to be asked next and many other suck ups.
Perino will skate from this probe as Conyers is not looking to probe Dana. Conyers wants the person who mastermind the firings of the USAs: Rove. Miers and Kyle Sampson will lose their law license. Add to the list: Paul McNulty and Michael Battle. Perino knew of the firings but she wasn't the one who plan and execute the firings. But, her reputation will cost her from this explosive information. She can only find work from Bush buddies only.
