I kid you not... Is Barbara Bush on the hiring list to replace Matt Lauer?

NEW YORK (AP) -- NBC's "Today" show has hired someone with White House experience as a new correspondent - former first daughter Jenna Hager.
The daughter of former President George W. Bush will contribute stories about once a month on issues like education to television's top-rated morning news show, said Jim Bell, its executive producer.
Hager, a 27-year-old teacher in Baltimore, said she has always wanted to be a teacher and a writer, and has already authored two books. But she was intrigued by the idea of getting into television when Bell contacted her.
"It wasn't something I'd always dreamed to do," she said. "But I think one of the most important things in life is to be open-minded and to be open-minded for change."
She'll essentially work two part-time jobs as a correspondent and in her school, where she will be a reading coordinator this year.

I was speechless when I read this, the dumbing down of the news big time.
But really all the people getting out of college, or who have chased stories at all hours of the night and are good news people who are intelligent and work hard....but no this one gets a job like this, certainly not on her hard work or ablilities..ugh, like her Dad. And then someone who really worked thier way through the trenches does not get the chance.
This clearly proves NBC is giving a politial favor to the Bush Family. Jenna has no experience and already has a job. Now in this recession with millions of qualified educated Journalist needing a job they give it to Jenna. Yes Jenna who as a college student used fake ID and as a young adult got kicked out of Brazil for drunken/drug and disorderly. She even showed the Media/Press her middle finger when with her Mom. Now the real reason Jenna has this job is for the Execustives to give Bush money for his Library. Yes it's a front for a big donation. What Mother would want their daughter to be like Jenna or Barbara Bush with their totally disrespect and fowl mouths. Look for NBC to hired Barbara Bush next as Laura and George need the money. Daddy Bush isn't doing so well in his investments as the Middle East doesn't need him any more.
Walter Cronkite and Edward R. Murrow would roll over in their graves in NBC's Today show to hire Jenna and pass over young female journalists who are either graduated or unemployed looking for work in their careers.
Affirmative action for the rich...
