Where is the outrage from the wingnuts?

While the wingnuts are clinging their pearls over the Obama and Chavez handshake, President Nixon met with Chairman Mao in 1972, a man responsible for the deaths of untold millions.

OK, let's look at Chavez, helped the poor in this country get heating oil, has a program to help his people get old junk gas guzzling cars off the road, also has many good programs to help his citizens out. Let's think, of what Chavez has done for his people compared to the Darth/Imbecile years.........no wonder Chavez smelled sulfer.

Anyhow, I heard the Obama Chia pet commercial today on the radio. I went on to say you would be proud to display this piece of American History, it will be a collector's item etc.

How come they did not have a Bush Monkey Chia?

I love you TGCN your on target.
Now I'm old school and I remember Nixon but also Kenney/Khrushchev during the Cuban Nuclear Crisis and Reagan/Gorbachev during the Berlin Wall. At lease it's shows how dumb the RNC people are and why we're ranked so low in education. Republicans are in fear of Obama's success and they are right to be afraid be very afraid.

Gee, Nixon in China got made into an opera.

I guess for the GOP, killing millions of people was OK for Mao but Chavez calling Bush a name was not OK.

Of course, none of you need to be reminded of the assistance Chavez sent after Katrina that Bush turned down.

No we don't want to reminded, Mr. Kitty. Keep in mind that Chavez gave 40 % savings on oil to the NY and Massachussetts when the winter heating went up. He also gave oil to Alaska. So, Chavez did as much as he could for the American people despite the Gerbil's declaring Chavez as the axis of evil. The handshaking by Chavez and Obama is just the beginning of dialogue.
