Clinton on Dick: ‘It won’t surprise you that I don’t consider him a particularly reliable source.’

Thinkprogress on Wednesday:

In testimony today before the House Foreign Affairs Committee, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton told Rep. Dana Rohrabacher (R-CA) that she did not view former Vice President Cheney as a "particularly reliable source" on matters related to detainee torture and mistreatment. Rohrabacher had asked Clinton whether she supported the release of documents that Cheney recently claimed documented the "successes" that came out of the Bush administration's torture program:

ROHRABACHER: This goes to the heart of as far as I can see of whether or not we can expect to have transparency and openness in this administration? Or are you going to just refuse to answer the question? ... What will be your recommendation?

CLINTON: I am not going to share that with you because I don't know any facts that support what you're describing.

And another swipe by Clinton. This time it was to Rep. Mike Pence (R-IN).

Pence gave a lengthy question in which he criticized Obama for being seen shaking hands with Hugo Chávez, and asked Hillary about the negative effects of this event. In her response, Hillary explained that Obama is taking a different approach than what has been tried in the recent past and didn't work -- and that Obama is the president:

Appropriate comment by Hilary.

Don't mess with Hill!!! Rep. Pence was doing his best to draw Hillary out. By using the election and that story of Obama shaking Chavez's hand. Yes Republicans are trying to push Hillary and Barack against each other. You see they know she's a fighter but little is knew about the former Senator from Illinoise. Pence like the rest of the idiots didn't do their homework because that's work. Obama nd the Clintons have been close friends before he became Senator and they even helped with his campaign for the Senate Seat. Hillary did for Obama but my Dad did for me. He pushed me hard to go the distance so I'd be strong on my own. History would have been made who ever won the Election. But Hillary had been in the nest of sharks much longer then Barack. The respect he has for Hillary is the top of the line. A lesson to losers get over it because Hillary was and is a winner. Barack was wise enough to pick the best to learn from so he can now make his own legacy.
