(h/t LA Times)
As you may recall I posted a story that broke from the LA Times about the California state officials travel on taxpayers' expense. Well, LA Times posted some of the state officials' expenses online to prove their point. Click here to view more expense reports.
Of course California State law allows state employees to charge taxpayers only for activities on behalf of the public, excluding commuting or events related to their personal lives. This is where the state officials crossed the line. After LA Times broke this story, Schwarzenegger administration now rolls out new ethics policy where a review of senior advisors' economic statements will be conducted to root out conflicts of interest. And those statements and officials' travel expenses will also be posted the the state government website.
After LA Times broke this story, some of the state officials have now either reimburse already the money from their travel expenses and/or about to reimburse the money from their travel expenses. It would be interesting to know that if this story never broke, would these same state officials reimburse the money back?
Do you think this is too little too late to mend the damage?

This is explains why were in so much debt what other suprises will be released next? Looks like the 8 year crime wave done by the Bush Administration caught on in many States as well. Gov. Terminator should be indicted for his actions and fraud.
