New 6,000 Kilpatrick's text messages are now revealed.

On page 3, I had to stop. There was this text message exchange from Kwame to Christine Beatty, his girlfriend and his former aide:

I REALIZED THAT YOU ARE THE WIND BENEATH MY WINGS. I LOVE YOU SO MUCH IT HURTS SOMETIMES, LIKE TODAY. I SEE YOU EVERYDAY AND STILL WANT TO BE WITH YOU MORE...

And much of the 6,000 text messages were so nasty I think my computer could get infected and needed to be cleaned. It's just that plain nasty folks. I had to stop at page 3 and just gave up diving in to read more.

Those steamy texts, exchanged by former Detroit mayor Kwame Kilpatrick and his girlfriend Christine Beatty, have been released, as prosecutors develop possible perjury cases against the two.

On a side note: Both Kilpatrick and Beatty pleaded guilty to felony charges after the text messages revealed they lied on the stand about having an affair during a police whistle-blower trial. They were also charged with trying to cover up the text messages when attorneys in that trial discovered them. Both resigned from office, and were sentenced to jail terms. Kilpatrick has served his term, and is seeking to move from Detroit to Texas. Beatty is still in the Wayne County Jail.
