The costs of don't ask, don't tell; Open thread.
"Don't Ask Fon't Tell" excludes qualified service members and cost taxpayers millions of dollars, while public opinion now supports repealing the policy.
I met alot of gay soldiers in our Military and it seems only the idiots have a problem. Just think one of the best Doctors in the Military is gay but save your life. What would you say don't save my life because the person/Doctor is gay. It just reminds me to much of racism. I read a book once that told of a Master who beat his slaves and over worked them. He was real evil. One day he got caught in a trap and the only persons around where the slaves. As animals came because of the smell of blood the Master cried for help anyone's help. A young black slave who parents were beaten to death by the Master came to help. The Master said why did you help me when I have been so bad to you and even killed your parents. The boy said God is watching what I do and he would want me to save you. The Master still evil laughed and said well you will not get fed and you will work longer because I didn't like your answer. In the morning the Master broke out in a fever and was suffering as he called the doctor. Hours later the doctor got to the farm but it was nothing he could do to help. The Master summoned his family and slaves but only the slaves showed up as the family didn't care. The last thing the Master saw when he died was the boy. He again asked why did you people come to me when I treated you so bad, all of the slaves said God is watching then the Master died.
