Bernanke meets with Black Caucus

Politico:

Fed Chief Ben Bernanke continues his Capitol Hill charm offensive on Monday, meeting behind closed doors with the Congressional Black Caucus, according to a Hill aide.

TARP czar Neel Kashkari was expected to appear, but may have to pull out, the staffer said.

Members of the caucus called the meeting to press Bernanke on the Fed's beefed-up lending programs and to ensure urban areas, poor districts and minority-owned financial institutions have access to capital.

When Obama said Change he really ment it. Americans only knew Greenspan as Fed Chief and he was untouchable and unapproachable. Bennie is the first to be open. The Bush Administration made Bennie like stupid and tried to push Hank as the brains. We see how that turned out. I was surprised to hear Bennie say he was voting for Obama as most officials stay away for letting anyone know who they are choosing as Bennie was appointed by the Bush Team. Now Bennie is kicking but and looking good doing it. All I can say is " you go boy".
