Obama retook oath from Chief Justice Roberts. Part deux.

TPM:

President Obama just retook the oath from Chief Justice Roberts, just to clear up any lingering concerns.

White House Counsel Greg Craig just put out this statement ...

"We believe that the oath of office was administered effectively and that the President was sworn in appropriately yesterday. But the oath appears in the Constitution itself. And out of an abundance of caution, because there was one word out of sequence, Chief Justice Roberts administered the oath a second time."

The wing nuts still shoot themselves in the foot. This was the first time Chief Justice Roberts sworn in a President. Obama knew the words and yes Robets made a mistake. But who wouldn't after seeing millions waiting and billions looking on TV. But the wing nuts went so far as to say Roberts should be impeached. Thanks to these idiots Obama and Roberts are closer and now Roberts knows his Party will stab him in the back. Time will show that Roberts and Obama the two most powerful Americans will be able to work together on ideas. Two men who think differently were brought together because again the Republican Party attacks even their own.
