Gonzo: Bush kissed me on the forehead and said "stay strong."

Thinkprogress:

Immediately after President Obama’s swearing-in yesterday, George W. Bush and a group of his loyalists — including Margaret Spellings, Karl Rove, and Alberto Gonzales — flew back to Texas for a “welcome home” rally. Cox News reporter Ken Herman caught up with Gonzales, who shared some of the moments from the plane ride:

GONZALES: The last thing he said as he was getting off the plane — he kissed me on the forehead — and he said, “Just stay strong.” […]

HERMAN: Any tears shed on the plane by anybody?

GONZALES: By me, yeah. There were a few.

HERMAN: Why?

GONZALES: Just pride. Just love and appreciation for the man and what he did, Ken. I feel — being on this trip did a lot for me, in terms of just making me realize — it was a small part, but I played a part in protecting our country, and I take a great deal of pride in that.

Update:Fox News was the only network to carry a live telecast of Bush's homecoming in Midland, TX.

The shiner Gonoz has was either the door or a fist. He has to suck up to the idiot with all these criminal cases coming up. It's straigt out of the bible. Judas took the 30 pieces of silver and Jesus gave him a kiss. Gonzo sold his soul to Satan and now he will pay the price. Daddy Bush told his idiot son to save himself and let the other hang. Now the Law Makers who followed Bush/Cheney and even committed crimes are scared their crimes will come out. Reid is up to his neck in crime and Pelosi sold out and now is doing her best to push that out of sight. Obama knows his transparentcy will show what really happen in the pass 8 years. Gonzo can't even fine a job as he has no real friends.
