Excellent!
Former New Mexico U. S. Attorney David Iglesias, during a live interview on KRQE News 13, described his new job as a Navy judge advocate general prosecuting terrorism cases at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. He told a New Mexico news station this morning.
"One hundred percent of what I'm doing is prosecuting terrorist cases out of Guantanamo," he said.
Igleisas explained that he had already begun the work, having travelled to the facility once, and expecting to go back.
"It's the most significant set of orders I've had in my 24 years of navy service," he added. "The level of detail that I'm looking into some of these terrorist groups, it just takes my breath away."
And he signaled what seemed to be a change in tone from the Bush years. "We want to make sure that those terrorists that did commit acts will be brought to justice -- and those that did not will be released."
Asked about the unlikelihood of being named to a frontline job in the war on terror, after being fired as a US Attorney for alienating the Bush administration, Iglesias allowed: "It's been very ironic."

That's outstanding news. Best to him and the other fine attorneys who were so badly treated by Bushco !
Good for Iglesias, his former boss Gonzales gets a kiss and "stay strong" from Bush. (on the plane ride back to Texas) These attorneys never got the justice they deserved from Bushco either.
Think anything will be done about the missing emails from the Plame era, recently found?
Good move!
Justice is back and looking good too. Now look for the detainees to be found innocent because their confession were read to them while they were being tortured. Documents show the US even tortured kids and woman. The detainees that were killed while being tortured were taken home and their families were paid by the US.
