U.S. News reports that “President George H.W. Bush is a bit miffed that Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin hasn’t returned his phone calls of congrats for a good effort in the presidential election.” Bush has reportedly called Palin twice: The first time, he left a message at McCain headquarters after she was chosen as the VP candidate. After the election was over, he left a message with the governor’s office. Palin’s aide claims that they never received the messages.

Sarah now has a larger list of feelers and Daddy Bush can't even walk now. Sarah is looking out for Sarah. Now when Daddy Bush was President and had power/money Sarah would have jumped at that call. Now Daddy Bush is can barely walk and looks like he's 200 years old. Sarah can't use him so she has moved on. When a younger power Republican steps up Sarah will do her darnest to give the call, wink and you betsha to get nice to him. The GOP old timers are falling over themselves just thinking about what they wish they could do with Sarah. I had the best laugh when all the oldies and some young dudes said the Sarah wink was to them. Sad really sad.
