Jesse Jackson Jr. ID as informant to USA office about Blago administration.

And who knew? For 10 years? And I wonder what the wingnut media are going to say about this since they were acting like judge, jury, and executioner to Jackson Jr. when they didn't have all the facts. And they targeted Rahm Emanuel as the snitch for the USA office. The media certainly should have eggs on their faces. This proves that Jackson Jr. is not the target of Fitzgerald's probe.

According to CNN, sources close to Rep. Jesse Jackson, Jr. was an informant to the U.S. Attorney’s office in Illinois. Two very close sources to Rep. Jackson, Jr. have confirmed that the congressman has communicated information about Gov. Rod Blagojevich since 2006.

The sources also said that Jesse Jackson Jr. has provided information to the U.S. attorney’s office in Illinois for more than 10 years. However, those same sources say that Rep. Jackson, Jr. did not serve as an informant in the current investigation involving Gov. Blagojevich.

The news comes just as an Illinois House panel picks up speed toward the potential impeachment of Gov. Blagojevich. The Illinois House has requested Chicago’s top federal prosecutor to rush the proceedings. Blagojevich’s lawyer has filed a complaint saying his client’s rights are being violated because of the expediency of the impeachment process. It isn’t known if Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr. is involved with this legal procedure.

Rep. Jackson’s attorney also revealed that his client has been told by federal agents that he was not the target of the investigation.
Read on.

Also, Blago nixed job for Jackson's Jr.'s wife.
Shortly after his 2002 election, Gov. Rod Blagojevich told Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr. he didn't appoint the congressman's wife as lottery director because he had refused him a $25,000 campaign donation, a person familiar with the conversation told The Associated Press on Tuesday. "Blagojevich went out of his way to say, 'You know I was considering your wife for the lottery job and the $25,000 you didn't give me? That's why she's not getting the job,'" the person said, speaking on condition of anonymity because of the ongoing federal investigation.

Who knew? The Republicans, Media, Journalist yelled for Jackson Jr. to resign. Now Pat explained everything so well a 5 year old could understand but not the Media and Journalist. Jackson Jr. was on the list but wasn't involved. Now we learn he was a Fed informant for 10 years. The Media attacked and accused Raul Emanuel while even giving out his home address and having his Family's life threated when he did nothing.

Michael Madigan is working overtime to get G-Rod out and Lisa in. Old School Politics still at work. I was shocked the AG Lisa Madign never read the 25th Amendment because her rush to remove G-Rod was illegal. One would like to think an AG knew the law. I figure she was show boating because American really didn't know so they would believe she was doing something. Maybe Lisa should have first asked Pat Fitzgeral or Randall Samborn what the rules of the 25th Amendment was. It was smart of Michael Madigan to go to the White House/DOJ and have his campaign fraud case covered up. The Madigan Family know who the players are and it doesn't matter if their Democrats or Republicans. Makes since that G-Rod's first choice for Obama's seat was AG Lisa Madigan.

Outstanding!!!!!!!!

I bet there are a ton of politicians in Illinois who needed a change of underwear yet again, and even more so!!!!!!!!!

The cat thinks that a special election to pick a senate seat will not work according to the Illinois Constitution but is not yet certain. The cat snooped around in the library today and brought home some fine reading materials, something Lisa Lisa forgot to do.

Lisa Lisa almost went straight from law school to AG, so if there was a big mistake, I would not be surprised. If the cat remembers correctly, Lisa Lisa never tried a case in court but the cat could be totally wrong on that. The cat did not vote for her because of that lack of experience.

Now I'm wondering Mr. Kitty how did you get a library card? Are you like Puss n Boots? I need to know because I get confused easily.

Yes who would have guessed that? Now one can only wonder did Lisa Lisa know about this or was she just to busy planning her next job. I know if Michael Madigan would have been all over that to get Lisa the Govenor's seat.
I looked up Lisa charge against G-Rod and Mr. Kitty either she's a poor lawyer and she's selling Jack's beans. The text Lisa would have to prove is that G-Rod has a disabity. Now that would require a medical examine which wont happen. He's a dirt bag but he's not crazy. So my first thought was right Lisa was show boating because she knew Americans hadn't read the law. Daddy Madigan is all over the place to kick G-Rod out.

Mr. Kitty you have to save the State and your State like every State has no money.

Everybody should go to the library to borrow free books when the economy is in the dumpster. :-)

Jackie--Fitz is on his way to Springfield or maybe already there. Tell him to be very careful because the weather is horrible this whole week. Ice, snow, ice again, snow again, snow again. etc.

When he does get to Springfield, the cat recommends Maldaner's (spelling?) restaurant and the Rib Shack, for some home cooking. The law office of Lincoln across from the Old Capitol building is not the original, but Fitz will probably be working too hard to visit a tourist trap.

Oh, the former director of the Abraham Lincoln Museum and Library got fired. He stole some DVDs of House, M.D. recently and some ties previously. Blago fired him, probably because he didn't want the competition in stealing.

Yeah, even the guy in charge of Abraham Lincoln's Library was a thief.
