Talkleft:
Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich issued 22 pardons on Friday.
One went to Marcus Lyons, who served three years in prison before DNA established his innocence.
The "pardon based on innocence" allows Lyons to apply for around $85,000 in compensation for the three years he served, said his attorney, Jane Raley, of the Center on Wrongful Convictions at Northwestern University School of Law.
But perhaps more importantly, she said, "it begins to address the enormous suffering he's endured."

Mr. Kitty look at G-Rod a man of the people and the pay to play game. Now I know there are alot of innocent people in jail all over the US but is G-Rod trying to get some positive attention? Ryan did his thing when he got caught and stopped all excutions because of those inncent might be killed by accident.
Mr. Kitty and TGCN what's up with G-Rod?
G-Rod's mommy must have dropped him on his head.
Yeah, he is repeating Ryan's behavior. Some smart TV news people last night played clips of G-Rod's I didn't do it speech back to back with clips of Ryan's same type of speech after he got accused.
G-Rod did more work in the days since he got arrested than he did in probably months.
