I saw Robert Baer( former CIA operative in the middle East) on C Span yesterday, he said we need to get out of Afghanistan, the more we fight the tribes the more we help the insurgents in Pakistan, and that is not helping Pakistan whom has nuclear weapons.
He also said the Supreme leader of Iran, Ayatolla Khommenei (Cheney is the US equivalent) is a rational leader (unlike Cheney) and is also in charge of the military and that Iran is a very sophisticated country and we should work with them on the IRaq situation, because we need to exit that situation because there is no end in sight, also that Iraq will never be put back together as one country because too much damage has been done.
Well summing it all up, we need to get out of the George Bush failures we can never win, there was not enough strategic planning and now they are such disasters that it is senseless to throw good money after bad making things worse.
Robert Blair also thinks the Supreme Leader of Iran is intelligent and rational and we should start working with him, it is the best option we have for getting out of Iraq without inflicting more irreverable damage for the worse.
