Obama aides, not Obama likely to meet world leaders at G20 summit

President-elect
Barack Obama will not meet any foreign leaders attending the global financial summit in Washington, but Obama aides would likely be tapped for meetings, a top Obama adviser said on Tuesday.

"We've had requests to have meetings with representatives of the president-elect and the vice president-elect," said John Podesta, co-chair of Obama's White House transition.

"We are arranging to have appropriate people meet with those leaders -- people they know and they trust and we will have more to say about that later."

Obama aides had previously denied reports that the future U.S. president planned to meet world leaders on the sidelines of the summit in Washington on Friday and Saturday.

Looks like the World Leaders now have some Americans to talk to with brains. Bush will just be used to serve water.
