Interesting. Palin said in last night's debate was that she and McCain believed in diplomacy. Someone didn't give Palin the memo from McCain.
Thinkprogress:
Yesterday, Sen. John McCain met with the editorial board of the Denver Post. Discussing Iran, McCain took an extreme hard-line approach, saying the U.S. should “cut off” all ties to Iran, including “diplomatic” ties:
Let’s cut off all kinds of credit to ‘em, all kinds — diplomatic, trade, you name it. Basically isolate them. Because they are in violation of solemn agreements that they entered into, concerning nuclear weapons. And so I really believe that we could have an effect on Iranian behavior.
Later in the interview, when asked how he could impose sanctions without Russia and China agreeing, McCain replied, “I’m not exactly sure.” Instead, he restated his “radical” and “dumb” idea to create a “League of Democracies” as a way to push his extreme approach to Iran.

Now Sarah has threaten to attack Russia, McCain is now looking to cut off Iran and lose any support we have left. If this is McCain's way of getting Jewish votes this plan will fail too. First McCain has to realize who makes the decisions in Iran and it's not the President, it's the Grand Ayatollah Khomieni. If our Law Makers knew who the rulers of the Middle East were we might not be in this problem.
Biden was so right Pakistan is more of a threat.....THEY DO HAVE nuclear weapons....FACT
They are harboring more terrorists FACT
They have Al Qaeda training camps, and the most Al Qaeda members FACT
Iran does not even have Nuclear power yet or do you pronounce it the GOP way Nukular, does anyone in the GOP read the IAEA reports??
And how far does Palin think she is going to get by cutting off all ties with Iran who has ties with everyone, is at every Summit is now becoming a leader in car manufacturing and cell phones? lest we not forget oil.....duh where is this woman and Gramps?
Iran is busy working on good relations with every country that will work with them. 5 past Sec of State say work with them...? and they are not all Democrats.
Biden was also right Ahmadinejad is not running things in Iran, (Ayatollah...supreme leader??)
you know just like here, Gerbil is Pres and Cheney is the Supreme Leader
Anyhow she did the beauty pagent thing (smiled the whole time she talked) throughout, also did anyone catch Gwen Ifel tell Biden Good job at the end when they went to thank her?
Anyhow, to me it looked like Biden won this one. She kept on the same things that obviously her handlers worked with her pretty good on.
