Newsinkling: Inside of U.S. Attorney Alice Martin and the selective prosecution cases.

I had written about the selective prosecution cases of former Governor Don Siegelman of Alabama and County Commissioner Gary White. I wanted to turn my focus to profile Attorney Alice Martin, the U.S. Attorney in Alabama who is in the center of controversy of her connection to the highly dubious prosecution of Mr. Siegelman.

Ms. Martin, a woman who had been rumored to have higher political ambitions in Alabama, has served as the United States Attorney for the Northern District of Alabama since September 29, 2001. Siegelman and White are not the only controversial prosecutions under Martin. Here are other questionable cases that show very much a corruptive attorney office and misuse of the judicial system under this U.S. Attorney.
