Yesterday, former press secretary Scott McClellan appeared on MSNBC’s Countdown to discuss last week’s Senate Intelligence Report, which found that the White House “built the public case for war against Iraq by exaggerating available intelligence and by ignoring disagreements among spy agencies about Iraq’s weapons programs and Saddam Hussein’s links to al Qaeda.” McClellan accused White House officials of having their “heads in the sand” and said they tried to block the committee’s investigation:
The White House never wanted to have the way the case was made, the way the intelligence was used to sell the war to the American people looked into by Congress. This was delayed for quite some time and Senator Rockefeller pushed this forward to get to the truth. And, the White House can continue to bury their heads in the sand but the reality is still the same.
I think the American people see it for exactly what it is. … We came to the very same conclusion that the intelligence was used in a way to make the threat sound more grave and urgent and serious than it was.

Scott is just the opening scene to a much bigger picture of how the White House and friends robbed the US taxpayers. Many Democrats played a part in this as did Republicans. People will learn how money was given to the husbands and wives of Law Makers to cover up the kick backs. Yes some we know already like Diane Feinstein who's husband got a big US contract for Diane to vote for the new AG. Now what will be interesting is to see what Nancy Pelosi and Barbara Boxer go to follow the orders of the White House. Yes Americans believed that Democrats would save the US only to find out after some like Nancy got the top job they took the pay off. Nixon was impeached for a crime and Clinton was charged with impeachment for having a affair and not telling us all about it. But Nancy Pelosi says we can't impeach Bush/Cheney even knowing they lied about everything over 7 years and even stole Taxpayers money and committed War Crimes. Yes the Bush/Cheney team corrupted the hold Justice Department and has made enemies from all the World Leaders but Nancy doesn't see any crime in all that to start impeachment hearings. If Bush had an affair would that be enough? As far as Nancy is concerned no. Bush/Cheney are safe from being charged as long as Nancy is Speaker of the House. Now you might ask what was she given by the GOP to protect the criminals we'll soon find out. Don't be surprised if Senator Leahy and Reid were on the take as well. Reid is so deep in the corrupt deals he made with the GOP he walks lightly. Leahy showed he was in the back pocket while trying to trick Americans into believing he was honest. Our Law Makers live a life stay they will sell us out to keep. It's all about the money and not the people. Like the Slave owner who worked his slaves to death and still wanted more. Trust is a hard thing to believe in now but we'll always have Bill Clinton to come to the rescue as he did with the Katrina Storm victims.
