Greenspan: ‘We are on the brink’ of a recession.

Gee, ya think?

Thinkprogress:

Former Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan warned today that “the U.S. economy was ‘on the brink‘ of a recession, with the chances of that happening at more than 50 percent.” Greenspan added that a quick recovery of the sour economy is unlikely. “A rebound at this stage is not something I think is in the immediate outlook,” he said. “There are still very considerable structural problems remaining in the financial system. They will remain for a while. It’s going to be very difficult.”

Hey, it's called STAGFLATION.

Now there's a blast from the past that we could all live without!

When will people wake up and realize that the economy really sucks under Republicans with the last name of Bush?

Folks needs to go to the Consumer Price Index websit first to compare the cost of a product 8 years to what it is now. Then go to the National Deficit Clock website to see how much this country is in debt compared to 8 years. Then, ask your neighbor can he or she pay cash for anything.

Are we in a recession? Is the Gerbil an alcoholic?
