Appeals court rules against Bush Sith administration in enemy combatant case.

Thinkprogress:

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit has “overturned the Pentagon’s classification of a Guantanamo detainee as an enemy combatant,” undermining “the basis for his more than six years in detention.” The court also rejected the argument that the President can “detain people who never took up arms against the U.S.,” dealing another setback to the Bush administration’s detention program.

I read on the judge who won't join the supoena fight. Remember U.S. District Judge John Bates is the same judge who rejected Joe and Valerie Wilson's civil lawsuit and the same judge that gave Cheney a free pass by blocking any info of Cheney's Enron meetings because of Executive Privilege. Bates's conduct in the Wilson's lawsuit raises eyebrows.

Bates is on the take and his conduct proves it. Look Cheney was smart to put Judges and Lawyers on his payroll even Supreme Court Justices are on the take. We have a corrupt Justice System and Department of Justice. Musk Rat will soon step in to put a stop to the White House criminals from being prosecuted.
