Defying disgusted constituents and angry Republican leaders, disgraced Rep. Vito Fossella has told pals he plans to seek re-election.
And, shockingly, the Staten Island pol is feeling "pretty good," he confided to friends.
"I got every indication that he plans to run again," said Guy Molinari, Fossella's political mentor, who's been in close contact with the embattled 43-year-old politician.
Fossella is up for re-election in November.
"He's not just inclined to run. He plans on running," said Molinari, a former congressman and Staten Island borough president who was succeeded by Fossella as the de facto leader of the borough's GOP.

MORE: DAD & UNCLE 'BANKROLLED' LOVE CHILD
The rich father and uncle of shame-faced, two-timing Staten Island Rep. Vito Fossella have been making sure his gal pal and love child are well taken care of in Virginia, sources close to the disgraced politician said yesterday.
"Uncle Frank and Vito Sr. were bankrolling the kid," said one highly placed Republican official.
The alleged financial support was to help raise Fossella's 3-year-old daughter, Natalie, whom he has admitted fathering with former Air Force Col. Laura Fay[pics are above].

Vito is right to run for office again, it's not like he has done anything that any other American would do. He has his family take care of his out of wedlock child and who hasn't had a DWI. Now Vito is just one example of Christian Religious Republican Family Values we all should try to be. Other Republicans who display the same values such as Larry Craig, David Vitter, Mark Foley and all the rest. These men are the examples we want our kids to follow. I can hear it now when a young child is asked in school who do you admire the answer will be Vito, Vitter, Craig, Foley, Bush, Cheney and all the rest of the criminal sinful team. Americans gave an out cry about Spitzer but not a word about Vito. This shows just how low we're dropped in this country. It's even being common place for kids to curse out their Mothers now that Men has shown no respect for woman. Like my GrandMother said if you get away with something you will do it again so I look forward to Vito's next kid born out of wedlock.
