Toddler's friends and family plan reeling from endless taxes.

Published: 5/3/2008 12:15 AM

On Monday night, I took part in a telephone town hall with congressional candidate Steve Greenberg and State Sen. Matt Murphy.

The topic was the endless taxes imposed on us by our county, state and federal governments.

Mr. Greenberg and Sen. Murphy shared a number of shocking facts with us that deserve wider circulation.

First, Illinois has grown at half the rate of our neighboring states since Rod Blagojevich was elected due to his anti-business policies.

Second, the two highest-grossing gas stations in the entire country are just over the border in Indiana because gas is so much cheaper there than in Illinois.

Finally, a 12 percent pay raise, the largest raise in Cook County this year, was given to Todd Stroger's cousin in a year where the sales tax needed to be raised to cover a budget shortfall.

Voters need to rise up and hold all of our elected officials accountable for their actions.

As a college student from a working middle class family, I have seen how destructive the current system truly is.

Raising taxes is crippling, and I have seen how high taxes hurt families.

Mr. Greenberg outlined his proposals to lower taxes and to balance the federal budget by eliminating wasteful government spending.

Sen. Murphy discussed the proposals he is working on at a local level to provide relief to taxpayers of the community.

I am truly grateful men like Mr. Greenberg and Sen. Murphy are out there fighting for principles that help my family and millions like mine.

Donna Dunnings, The Toddler's cousin who got the pay raise, she is CFO of CC......and I can't believe someone like this got in a position like this (oh ya couz Todster) but this women clearly has no financial sense about her, she is mostly clueless, relies heavily on her staff.....I had best stop before I write a book, but I think this gives enough the idea.

The Toddster will not do well when he goes to jail. But he will get another pair of glasses. Since the Toddester hired family members qualifications didn't count. The two men who made the correct comments are your last chance. I just can't believe how high your gas and food is in Illinois. TGCN look one suggestion is to write the next Attorney General and ask for an investigation into the officials. It worked in the Loving case as both wrote Robert Kennedy. Yes I know right now the crooks are running the show but an Attorney General is over all the idiots of your State even G-Rod. You have to have the top handle the problem because State Law Makers can get paid off.
Out here Arnie knows he's finished he's just using the Kennedy Family to get a job with the next President. Arnie talks about raising taxes but is scared of the people, he'll leave the budget problem to the next Governor. What's happening in other States is something I really have seen in all my years. Yes one or two big problems would hit the headlines but now it's every State is full of corrupt Law Officials with a DOJ protecting them.

The Toddster looks like a black clown with glasses. I am glad I didn't see him when I visited Chicago I would have laughed and never known he was the Toddster. But he's an example of how corrupt criminal family pass it on to the next generation just like the Mafia.

Jackie, the AG is Lisa Lisa. We think she wants to be gov sometime, too. At least her daddy, who runs the House, voted down a 5% for himself. The Senate Leader, Emil Jones, says he needs his 5% raise.

I love my cat I really do. You remembered I call Lisa, Lisa Lisa ya I hope she get fired and take her Daddy with her.

I don't think anyone should get a raise until the citizens get a break with gas, food and all expenses. I'm tired of Law Makers getting raisers while the public get's poorer.
