Palfrey wraps up affairs with labor of love.

(1956-2008)

Remembering With Appreciation
Deborah Jeane Palfrey was the creator of this website [Charleroi High School alumni website] (in 2002) and the administrator through April 2008. Those who knew her and respected her passion for perpetuating the site are deeply saddened by her passing. She worked tirelessly for six years to share this wonderful gift with her hometown and the thousands of other CHS graduates.
Thank you, Jeane.

May God grant you peace.

[Jeane's photo of her 30th high school reunion is on the high school alumni website]

Below is her last submission to the website:

Have lived in California, for the past 20 years. Self-employed, design/import (furniture/interiors). MBA in international business. Always threatening to go back to law school. Have supported the National Innocence Project (New York), California Innocence and now, LAEP/Life After Exoneration Program (Berkeley based grass root's organization), since the late 90's. Never could stomach injustice - social or otherwise. At current pace, most likely will be slugging it out in the California prisons/courts in my 60's and 70's. A good way though to take my final curtain call. Hobbies include travel (international, whenever possible), non-fiction, cooking (had to quit "Cookbook of the Month" Club when I ran out of shelf space), all of PBS and the Amazing Race (looking for a partner willing to jump out of planes). WASHINGTON - One of the last things convicted D.C. Madam Deborah Jeane Palfrey did before committing suicide was make sure her high school classmates would be able to keep in touch with one another.

WTOP has learned in the week before Palfrey hanged herself, she asked a fellow graduate of Charleroi High School, near Pittsburgh, to take over the administration of an alumni Web site Palfrey started when she was running her Pamela Martin & Associates escort service.
"Debbie and I had talked on a few occasions about having me help with, or take over the site, for the past several years," says Palfrey's schoolmate, who asked to not be identified by name.
The new administrator of http://www.charleroipahsalumni.org/ says Palfrey contacted the woman the week before committing suicide.
"Basically, we did not discuss much other than 'Will you still consider it?' and 'Lets get started,'" says the administrator.
Palfrey gave no indication she intended to kill herself. "When she contacted me, it seemed something not unexpected," says the woman, who graduated in 1975, a year after Palfrey.
During interviews with WTOP, Palfrey said she was disappointed and hurt by remarks from classmates - who knew her as "Debbie P." - when the world learned of Palfrey's indictment on racketeering and money laundering charges, for running an prostitution ring.

The public never knew the real Jean Palfrey but only related to what the Media had to say. Jean did alot for others and showed more of what Jesus taught then those who criticized her. The good thing is God was watching and knows how pure her heart was. People are so dirty minded they only think of her as the name given by the Feds the DC Madam. I asked my grown son if he knew the difference between a Fantasy business and a prostitution business. He laughed and say doesn't everybody, I said no some people think their both the same. Yes the dumbing down of America works as it did in Jean's case.

I know the naysayers will continue to believe it was something other then Jean taking her life. Well some people have nothing else better to do but talk. But for those who loved and respected her know she was framed by the Feds/Prosecutor/Judge and would have been sent to jail on Rico and sentenced to 55 years. By the time the truth came out Jean would already be dead and not one reader or juror would blink an eye or care. Jean Palfrey would have just been another victim of the United States government and Court system.
