FOX News’ Fred Barnes: Working Class = Lower Class.

Crooks and Liars:
Talk about “elitism.” Last night while discussing “downscale voters,” salt-of-the-earth FOX News contributor (and Weekly Standard editor) Fred Barnes ridiculed and demeaned working class Americans by making the distinction that they aren’t “lower income,” but rather “lower class.”

TPM has more and Faiz sums it up nicely:
Hume opened the segment by asking Barnes to elaborate on his view that many of Hillary Clinton’s supporters are “downscale.” Barnes could hardly contain his laughter as he explained that the term “working class” is a euphemism because “it’s kind of mean to say ‘lower class.’ It’s as simple as that.” He explained that the “lower class” are people of low “social class.”

Makes my blood boil. I hope whoever wins the Presidency will make a clean sweep. And a moral inventory...but somehow I am just not holding my breath.

Let's see how many working class people keep watching Fox News now that their called Lower Class. But you never know some people don't even realize they have been insulted. One I find out someone or show is racist I'm finished with them/it. Who's next on the Fox News list for attack?

Jackie you are giving the regular audience of Faux too much credit for knowing to think. They have been brainwashed way too long and if this is their only news source they don't think, and they don't think that the working class meant them.
