Diaperman Vitter gets free pass from the Senate Ethics Committee.

Senate Ethics Committee did what it does best today -- NOTHING. Today, CREW received a response to the ethics complaint we filed against Senator Vitter last year. It was dismissed "without prejudice."
A very sad day. The Senate Ethics Committee gave diaperman
Vitter gets a free pass and the committee based their decision on Vitter's phone number connected in Jeane Palfrey's case. Yes, Vitter denied having sex in that case. But the ethics committee clearly didn't do a good and thorough job investigating into Vitter's having sex with the other two prostitutes:

Vitter won a special election to Louisiana's 1st Congressional District in 1999, succeeding Republican Congressman Bob Livingston, who resigned after an adultery scandal.

In 2000 and 2002, Vitter won re-election with over 80 percent of the vote in what has become a safe Republican district

But in June 2002, shortly before the Louisiana Weekly ran a story about Vitter's alleged relationship with a prostitute, Vitter dropped out of the governor's race. Remember Wendy, the prostitute who had an affair with Vitter who did her tell-all story to Larry Flynt? We have a very broken system, indeed.

This was planned out before Jean's trial. Let's look at the facts. Vitter didn't want to testify at the trial. Then he changed his mind. Why? Because a deal was made to look only at Jean's case as a Fantasy not sex which it was. So Boxer didn't really look at the other real prostitutes Vitter hired. Now he called Jean's business Oct. 1999 which made it when he became Senator after leaving his House Rep. job. It's all in the wording and yes no sex involved. Vitters knew he never had sex with Jean's business that's why he had no problem as a witness. Boxer sold out the American people and the youth. As it stands now there is no need for an Ethics Department as no one is ever charged or punished for their acts. The laugh was Larry Craig looking for men in men's rooms. Now he get a slap on the hand so he can go out and do it again. No wonder the country has no Morals or Values it's starts with the Government example.
