Bush may claim privilege in CIA case

I'm not surprised by this...

President orders White House lawyers to draw up documents

President George W. Bush Thursday ordered White House lawyers to use claims of executive privilege to prevent senior White House aides from cooperating with the Justice Department's criminal investigation into destruction of videotapes that showed CIA interrogators torturing terrorism suspects.
White House sources tell Capitol Hill Blue that the claims of executive privilege are just "the first step" in a coordinated campaign to stonewall the investigation and prevent administration aides from giving depositions or submitting to interviews with Justice Department investigators. More on the story.

Oh... I forgot to say - that's an excellent picture of George in that article - looks a little miffed ( :
hee hee! Too bad his rein is soon to come to an end.

I hear the clock ticking away, kinda like the Captain Hooks crocodile. Next January can not get here soon enough.

No surprise with the claim of privilege as that's the only thing he has to hold on to. Crime does pay if your the President. Nixon would be proud of his students they learned well. If these crooks were in Nixon's cabinet he would have never been impeached. Just think of what would it would be like in the USA. Yes the Civil Rights Bill would have been destroyed and the South would have rose again as Trent and Strom would be living the great life.
