Senate passes ethics bill.

From Thinkprogress:

In an 83 to 14 vote, the Senate today joined the House and passed legislation requiring that “lawmakers disclose more about their efforts to fund pet projects and raise money from lobbyists, a move some called the biggest advance in congressional ethics in decades.” One of the senators who voted against the bill was Sen. Ted Stevens (R-AK), whose “home was searched this week by federal agents probing alleged influence-peddling involving earmarks.”

UPDATE: Full roll call vote HERE.

Keep the list of the 14 who voted no. Look for their names to come out with crimes committed. Why would a criminal vote to put himself in jail.

Jackie,

I will keep a close eye on the 14 to see if they are linked to Ms. Palfrey phone records. You never know.
