From NY Post:
August 3, 2007 -- WASHINGTON - John Edwards, who yesterday demanded Democratic candidates return any campaign donations from Rupert Murdoch and News Corp., himself earned at least $800,000 for a book published by one of the media mogul's companies.
The Edwards campaign said the multimillionaire trial lawyer would not return the hefty payout from Murdoch for the book titled "Home: The Blueprints of Our Lives."
The campaign didn't respond to a question from The Post about whether it was hypocritical for Edwards to take money from News Corp. while calling for other candidates not to.
I am not a Murdoch fan. But, what you do with profit and money is what counts. Murdoch is a business man. How Murdoch conducts his type of business with Fox News and WSJ is not what I agree with. I like Edwards but it was a bit hypocritical to criticized Clinton for taking money from Murdoch for her campaign but Edwards took money from Murdoch's company for his book.

SPB I was a little surprised at Edwards comments too. Now the empolyees of Murdoch gave money to who they wanted. Edwards found out that's how Clinton/Obama got so much. Now he's behind and using this as an excuse. Your right he took the money for his book yet now he's trying to attack others. If any empolyees of Murdoch gave Edwards money would he give it back? He's third and is looking for a way to move up but this is making him look stupid.
Yes, Edwards is behind and making bad decisions. I don't like FAUX national news but the regular TV FOX network brought us "The Simpsons" so not everything is all bad at FOX. I like House, M.D., too. No doctor knows that much but he says what everyone would like to say. He calls an idiot an idiot.
