From the AP:
SAN FRANCISCO -
Army medical examiners were suspicious about the close proximity of the three bullet holes in Pat Tillman’s forehead and tried without success to get authorities to investigate whether the former NFL player’s death amounted to a crime, according to documents obtained by The Associated Press.
“The medical evidence did not match up with the, with the scenario as described,” a doctor who examined Tillman’s body after he was killed on the battlefield in Afghanistan in 2004 told investigators.
The doctors - whose names were blacked out - said that the bullet holes were so close together that it appeared the Army Ranger was cut down by an M-16 fired from a mere 10 yards or so away.
In other words, Pat Tillman was most likely murdered in the field. In cold blood. By other US soldiers.
This must be what the Bush Administration was trying so desperately to hide behind their all purpose “Executive Privilege” shield. Read more…
Very sad for the Tillman family to be betrayed in trust by the military, government, and White House.
Tillman's death was a coverup and so was Pfc. LaVena Johnson.

I read the report of Pat Tillman's death. It is a clear case of murder. Pat was shot from 10 yards away and a sharpshooter it him twice in the forehead. Right on target. McCain knew what happen but covered up and lied the the Tillman family. No one will be charged with the murder just some officers will be demoted. Because of Pat Tillman's celebrity status he was disliked. So the military knew soldiers and ranked officers didn't like him. The doctor told in his report that it was a murder case but the Military wouldn't let him file an investigation report. This case goes all the way to the top. There are many more soldiers who were murdered by fellow officers but no investigations will be done. We thought Al Qaeda and Iraq insurgents were killing our troops now we know different.
“I can see it like a movie screen,” Baer said. “We were outside of (a city in southern Iraq) watching as bombs were dropping on the town. We were at an old air base, me, Kevin and Pat, we weren’t in the fight right then. We were talking. And Pat said, ‘You know, this war is so f— illegal.’ And we all said, ‘Yeah.’ That’s who he was. He totally was against Bush.”
