US plans sustained Iraq presence through 2009.

This is certainly not news when we all knew Bush's plans from the get-go..

From Raw Story:

The United States plans to maintain a significant presence in Iraq well into 2009, according to a classified report obtained by the New York Times.

"The classified plan, which represents the coordinated strategy of the top American commander and the American ambassador, calls for restoring security in local areas, including Baghdad, by the summer of 2008," the paper reports. "'Sustainable security' is to be established on a nationwide basis by the summer of 2009, according to American officials familiar with the document."

Known as the "Joint Campaign Plan," the Times reveals that the document enumerates a "new strategy" President Bush indicated in January when he sent five additional combat brigades to Iraq -- shifting from an effort to train Iraqis in securing their own country to one that involves an increase in American troops to protect the capital.

Americans can keep listening to the White House and the media about when the US will leave Iraq, but the Middle East leaders are now working together. We will be told to leave as the Middle East joins and resolves it's problems. I told you early God works in His own way. The Bush Administration brought chaos, death, crime and torture to the Middle East. Now these countries are working together without the US. Yes even the EU is started to work with the Middle East. Smart leaders work and listen to other smart leaders. Now the world knows the US has an idiot, drunk and druggie as President they don't want to have anything to do with him. Yes the media and Americans make excuses for Bush's stupidity but the world doesn't. We can't call Bush what he is a liar and crook but those around the world are saying loud and clear.
