HJC Approves Contempt Citations.

From TPM:

As expected the House Judiciary Committee approved citations of contempt against Harriet Miers and Josh Bolten in a vote just a few minutes ago. The vote was along party lines, 22-17. We'll have more from the committee's meeting shortly.

The AP reports, citing "a senior Democratic official," that "a vote by the full House would most likely happen after Congress' August recess."

The bag lady is in big trouble...

Miers aka the bag lady better get a good lawyer. Now let's see what the Bar Association does with her licence. Wow what a fall. Miers worked her way up from Texas office to be nominated to the United States Supreme Court only to fall all the way down to a Paralegal. Talk about a ride on the wild side. Maybe she will try to get some money and write a book about the ups and downs of a bag lady.
