GonzoTV: Lying Liar Edition

Folks, I don't know if to get angry or laugh my ass off of Gonzo's train wreck testimony to the SJC. Josh Marshall of TPM does a wonderful job putting together this video clip on Gonzo's day yesterday. Josh writes:

If you didn't get a chance to watch Alberto Gonzales' trainwreck testimony yesterday up in the senate we've got a highlight reel here of all the ugliest moments. It's really worth a look because it is very telling about where we're at right now that this joker can be caught in a series of lies and basically called a liar to his face by the top Democrat and Republican on the committee and still hold on to his job because the president needs Gonzales to keep him and his staff out of the slammer.

Take a look ...

And it is time for Congress to impeach Gonzo.

I saw some of it on CSpan. Really sad that this guy is in the position he is in, I would not hire him to run a Burger King.

Every lawyer in the DOJ should not follow the Attorney General he made the world see that he is a true liar and following someones direction. Right now the DOJ has no Attorney General. He went to Ashcroft knowing Comey was Attorney General at the time> Now we are to believe that Gonzo thought that he could walk into the recovery room with Mrs. Ashcroft present and get him to ok an order while he was still medicated. How dumb does Gonzo think Americans are. We just get finished with the Gerbil in the hospital as Cheney was President while the Gerbil was medicated.

Yeah, we all know Alexander Haig was in charge while Ashcroft was sick!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ha ha!!!!!!

I saw it and it was a disgrace, he broke out into a sweat and the smirk left when Sen Whitehouse questioned him about the OVP involvement.

CBS is still spinning it, what's wrong with them?

Mr. Kitty stop drinking the bad Chicago water Alexander Haig was Secretary of State not Attorney General. Sometimes you scare me with your comments. I know your wise beyond your years but now your slipping. The only question now is who do you believe Comey who never lied or Gonzo who's been lying from day one with the documents to prove it.

Gonzo get serious...and get a good lawyer!

Folks,

The bottomline after watching Gonzo's trainwreck testimony with SJC: You have just witness the next fall guy in the Administration. The house of cards are fallen.

Jason Leopold wrote an article that I posted back in June that gives more evidence of Cheney and his OVP involvement in the wiretapping program. Here is an excerpt of Comey's testimony:

Comey's response to Leahy's queries provides fresh details about Cheney's role in the warrantless wiretapping program. Comey told Leahy that during a March 9, 2004 meeting he attended at the White House, he told Cheney he would not reauthorize the surveillance program which, under federal law, the White House needed to do every 45 days. Ashcroft was hospitalized at the time with pancreatitis and Comey was acting attorney general.

In addition to Cheney, Comey said Alberto Gonzales, who was White House Counsel at the time, President Bush's former Chief of Staff Andrew Card, Cheney's former counsel David Addington, and others attended the meeting at the White House to discuss the disagreements over the surveillance program. Last year, Gonzales testified there were no "serious disagreements" about the surveillance program.

During the meeting at the White House, Comey said he stated the Justice Department's position, which remains classified, and Cheney vehemently objected to the department's refusal to reauthorize the spy program.

He could not remember anything, Feingold looked like he was going to bop him on the head for being an imbecile. He kept looking for people behind him to help him remember. Is he smoking and drinking with the Gerbil? Is he hanging with his drug addict sister?

LMAO! I haven't heard the word "bop" in years. Feingold did look pissed at Gonzo. Feingold is an attorney and Gonzo was ceertainly an insult to him. After watching Josh's video, Gonzo was high on something at that hearing.
