From Gulf Times:
RAMALLAH: Tony Blair spoke of a “moment of opportunity” after he met Palestinian and Israeli leaders yesterday on his first visit to the region as an international envoy.
But he cautioned that steps toward peace would take time.In his first public remarks since beginning a 48-hour trip to Jerusalem and the West Bank on Monday, the former British prime minister said he had come mainly “to listen and to learn and to reflect”. He will return for longer in early September.“I think there is a sense of possibility at the moment. I think this is a moment of opportunity,” Blair said in Ramallah after meeting Palestinian Prime Minister Salam Fayyad.
lUS Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice will travel to the Middle East from July 30-August 2 on a tour set to take her to Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Israel and the Palestinian territories, the State Department announced yesterday. – Agencies

Blair is just drawing a pay check. All this is for photo ops. Notice how the Palestin people voted for Hamas yet Blair only speaks to Fatha. Israel is only looking to steal the Palestin land with the US help. Blair is still Bush's lap dog and always will be. Blair better hope PM Brown doesn't let all the crimes he committed with Bush come to light in the UK. Blair might be spending some time in jail for his criminal acts.
