$12.5 million wasted.

Amount of taxpayer money spent to store 85 million pounds of unused ice ordered by FEMA after Hurricane Katrina. FEMA has stored the ice for two years, even though the agency's "own regulations required that they dispose of the ice after three months."

Sorry SPB that wasn't wasted money it was given as a favor. Look here's how it works. Friends of the GOP are given big bucks for over charged stuff. They get paid with taxpayers money and then while your not watching resell the items. Next game ice cost twenty two cents, taxpayers pay ten dollars plus storage fee. Then as the ice melts water is sold to area's or to the military for putting out fires. Now money is made all around. It's the way the GOP funds the friends and the party. The White House calls it waste.

You must remember the Green Zone bank robbery of $280 Million American dollars. No investigation in the safest part of Iraq while controlled by United States yet a few Iraqis walked away with it all. Now that's the way to waste money yet ask for more. Yes the robbery took place just in time for the Iraq government to take their 6 week vacation not bad spending money I might say.
