Prosecutor posts go to the "pleasure" of loyal Bushies.

“About one-third of the nearly four dozen U.S. attorney’s jobs that have changed hands since President Bush began his second term have been filled by the White House and the Justice Department with trusted administration insiders,” the Washington Post reports. “The people chosen as chief federal prosecutors on a temporary or permanent basis since early 2005 include 10 senior aides to Attorney General Alberto R. Gonzales… Several came from the White House or other government agencies. Some lacked experience as prosecutors or had no connection to the districts in which they were sent to work, the records and biographical information show.”

That term goes back to the 1800's. To say it today sounds a little sexist. I mean today pleasure means something else. It sounds like their involved romantically with Bush. Ok I know the real meaning but they could say it with a more respectful term. Now Gonzales is using the same phase. I guess Bud was on board until Kyle publicly destroy his career by saying he had a poor review. This is the way the GOP gets out of lying by lying on fellow Republicans. Someone has to bring trust back to the legal system. As an lawyer who has a client charged with lying to the DOJ I would say Gonzales did it and nothing happen so it must be ok.
