A very interesting story...
Former Navy Man Now Anti-War Woman
Though a riveting judicial spectacular- former spies, secretive meetings, shadowy government - the testimony may most well be remembered for the pink-wearing, mannish-looking lady protesting in the back. A member of Code Pink, the tranny in question, Midge Potts, has finally broken her silence about her involvement in the all-women's anti-war group.
Midge Potts once lived as Mitchell Eugene Potts - a Navy man stationed on the USS Yosemite during the first Gulf War. Though proud of serving his country, Mitchell pondered the motivations for the war he fought. During that war, Mitchell inhaled mercury in an accident, received an honorable discharge and went on to marry and father a child. His marriage crumbled within a few years, however, and that's when Mitchell began dressing as Midge: "It's been about four years since I've really been living as a woman. Although I've always felt like this. I felt like a little girl when I was a kid." More importantly, it's also around this time that Midge began fighting against her nation's unjust wars.
As part of her mission, she ran against GOP representative Roy Blunt for his south Missouri congressional seat. She didn't win, but she sure as hell put herself on the map, meeting hundreds of people, making history as the first tranny political candidate and, of course, stealing the show at the Plame hearings.

Midge/Mitch is a good example that we are not taking care of our soldiers when they come back.
I saw that protester during Ms. Wilson's testimony on Waxman's webcast and no one in the media talk about this protester. Midge/Mitch is setting a good example. Glad he/she continues to speak out!
