I remember it well. lines at the gas pump and hostages in the news. I wasn't really into politics in those days and thought any involvement including voting was futile. I didn't respect Carter...just a prez that we called Mr. Peanut...lol
The dude we should have paid attention to in those days was Brzezinski. did I spell that right?
I think Carter did the best he could as he replaced an impeached President that made the US look bad. As the choices were Carter/Ford then. Ford called Nixon a good man and pardon him for all future and past crimes. What does that say about choice. Carter has to this day worked for the American people. Name a President that has won the Nobel Peace Prize. Yes Brzezinski was right as he is right about the events of today. No one is perfect but they do the best they can without lying or stealing. All Presidents did make some mistakes only a few did it with malice and forethought. We will continue to have leaders that try to do the best but only one man is perfect and he's God.
