Here is announcement: On Wednesday, I had lunch with the News Junkie reporter himself in Los Angeles, California, Jason Leopold. Yes, the real Jason Leopold. I kept this under wraps for months of planning. We finally met after months of communication and a very busy schedule from both of us. Imagine seeing an unshaved person with red T-shirt, jeans, and sneakers who is a reporter. Jason is very down-to-earth guy who has a passion for journalism and the truth. I found out that Jason had been a frequent visitor on the Patrick J. Fitzgerald blog for quite some time. He found it very entertaining and enjoyed some of the bloggers' comments. Now, here is some information that he shared with me at lunch exclusively that will be in his next article that he will posting next week:
First, remembered the 250 emails that resurfaced fron the White House on February 6, 2006? Here is an excerpt article that Jason written in April 2006:
"The meetings between Luskin and Fitzgerald which took place on several occasions a few weeks ago were called to discuss a timeframe to schedule a return to the grand jury by Rove to testify about, among other things, 250 pages of emails that resurfaced February 6 from Vice President Dick Cheney's office and the Office of President Bush in which Rove wrote to former White House Chief of Staff Andrew Card about strategizing an attack against Wilson, sources familiar with the case said."

What Jason revealed to me that those emails are from email accounts maintained by the Republican National Committee. It makes you wonder why the White House are whiting out and not giving all the emails currently. More information to come from his next article. The article will be posted on Monday.
Secondly, Jason interviewed per telephone fired U.S. Attorney David Iglesias. His article will be posted next week.
Thirdly, Jason interviewed several U.S. Attorneys who are currently working for the DOJ and who aren't part of the scandal to get their reaction on this latest scandal.
Fourthly, look for more investigation into Cheney Energy Task Force coming soon.
Finally, Jason will sending me all his upcoming articles. Those articles will be posted on the blog. And he will contributing articles on Newsinkling.org.

Jason should be proud of himself as he was right and the major press fell short and late with the news. So this was the surprise you were talking about. It was great that Jason got to interview some DOJ lawyers, since he lives in Cal. did he get a chance to interview Ms. Lam? I wonder who will be lucky enough to interview the Little Angel when the scandal is over and Gonzales leaves?

I kept this a secret for quite some time. But, Jason and I finally connected.

I had tortilla soup and salad. It was long trip for me to see him. Jason had cobb salad. Jason is a typical layback Californian: very casual dresser yesterday. But, I kept chuckling when he is talking to me while he is eating and checking his emails on his blackberry at the same time. I just hadn't been in that area in such a while and traffic was extremely bad.

Jason hasn't interviewed Lam yet. I will ask him if he interviewed Lam and/Ryan since they both were fired attorneys in California. But, so far he interviewed Iglesias.

About Pelosi? I know there is a lot of heat on Pelosi to want the Gerbil and the Dickster gone. Bit, Pelosi is doing a better job than the former Speaker of the House: Denny. I want the Gerbil and Darth gone and the troops home. But, mst imporantly, I want some of the money that was stolen from us return. We are is a huge deficit in this country.

Look for a possible civil lawsuit from the eight firing attorneys coming soon. Jason and I discussed that yesterday. And I now the House judiciary committee will be probing the U.S. Attorneys who weren't on the list of firing and the past U.S. Attorneys for a pattern.

OK that was a nice surprise, I was starting to think you saw Rove Rapping and the Gerbil hiding his face in disbelief, and you got it on camera, which would nice too.
I saw the Rove rapping. Just tacky. I can't wait for the rugby man to have a big smile on his face when Tubby McTreason Rove replaces his armani suit with an orange jumpsuit. Rove has been roaming this earth with a get out of jail free card too long.
